The Conference sessions will begin promptly at 09:00 on Tuesday 6 September 2016. Conference hours are from 09:00 to 17:30.

 

Dress code: A group photo will be taken in the morning of Tuesday 6 September, so please wear formal dress on the first day of the Conference and smart casual on following days.

Registration and identification badges

Participants are requested to register and obtain their badge and conference materials at the Registration Counter, located in front of the Conference Hall on Monday 5 September from 16.00 to 19:00. Participants who are not able to register on 5 September are requested to do so between 08:00-08:45 on Tuesday 6 September, at the Registration Counter in front of the main plenary room. Please be seated by 08:50 on the first day.

 

For identification and security reasons, all participants are requested to wear their badges at all times during the Conference. The loss of a badge should be reported to the Secretariat, so that a new one can be issued immediately.

Welcome Dinner 

Tuesday 6 September, at 19:00 at Sen Tay Ho (West Lake Lotus) Restaurant. The transport to/from the Restaurant will be provided for all participants. Departure from the Sheraton Hotel will be at 18:30 sharp from the hotel lobby.

 

 

Airport transfer 

Airport pick up and drop off will be provided for all registered participants who share their flight details in advance. Please look for a HelpAge representative holding a conference banner as soon as you exit the baggage claim and customs area at either domestic or international. Please confirm your flight details (arrival and departure time) with Ms Jib via email: events@helpageasia.org. The Sheraton Hanoi Hotel is approximately 30 minute drive from Noi Bai International Airport.

First aid 

The Sheraton Hanoi Hotel has first aid facilities. If you become unwell at any stage of the Conference, please notify the secretariat immediately.

Emergency contacts

Generally Vietnam is considered a safe place for foreigners, however you have to be careful when visiting crowded places for pickpockets.

 

Take normal precautions while leaving your hotel room and avoid going to lonely places alone during late night.
