Airport Transfers
The organiser will provide airport pick up from Imam Khomeini Airport (IKA) to the Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel and vise versa.
The organisers will collect flight information from the participants for the arrangement of airport pick up.
You may also choose to organise your own transport from the IKA to the the Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel by using the airport taxi service at your own expense. Taxis in Tehran are by cash only. There is a taxi rank located right outside the main arrival terminal. However, if you wish to book in advance, you can arrange this through the Seirosafar Company: http://seirosafar.ir/
The approximate cost of taxi service from IKA to the Esteghlal Hotel should be between IRR 750,000 to IRI 900,000 depaends on the type of car.

Accommodation
It is recommended that all particpants stay in the Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel during the conference period.
Participants are responsible for payment of extra staying days in Tehran or other cities, as well as other personal expenses such as telephone, mini bar, laundry etc.

Hotel booking - The conference organisers will reserve rooms for all participants. If you wish to make your own arrangement, please let us know.

When you check-in, the hotel staff will ask for your passport.

For participants whose accommodation costs are covered by the organisers as mentioned in the invitation letter, you must leave your passport with the hotel overnight. The hotel will return your passport the next day, in exchange for another ID card (e.g. National ID card or driving license).

For participants who are paying their own hotel charges, the hotel will keep your passport only overnight if you make full payment when checking in. The hotel will return your passport the next day, in exchange for another ID card (e.g. National ID card or driving license). If you want to make payment upon check-out, the hotel will keep your passport during your entire stay at the hotel.

Room rate:

Single room: 5,200,000 Rial (USD 55-70 approximately)

Standard Double room: 6,300,000 Rial (USD 65-80 approximately)

Due to the fluctuation of the currency, the precise USD cost is difficult to predict. It is advised that you check the rate closer to your travel dates.

Hotel payment can be made in USD, EU or Iranian Rial only. We recommend you change money to local currency at the bank located near hotel reception and make payment in Rial as the hotel’s rates are significantly lower. As noted previously, you cannot use your credit card or ATM card in Iran – only cash.

Check-out time is 2pm. (The hotel will charge 50% of the full rate for early check-in and late check-out)
Meals
Breakfast will be provided for participants who stay at the Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel. Lunch during the conference will be provided at the venue. All food available at the venue are Halal. Vegeterian food is available upon request in advance.
Iranian foods are mainly meat, chiken kebab, and stews with rice. Popular vegetable dishes are Kashke Bademjan and Mirzaghasemi.
Travel Insurance
Organisers do not cover the health and travel insurance of participants during their stay in Tehran. Participants should arrange for their own travel insurance.
